Separate from the licence, and the same with or without one: AI extras that need a big computer in the cloud, like transcribing tricky audio in any language, or fixing a flubbed word in your own voice. Editing never needs them. You get 200 free to start.

What happens after the 7 days?: ReelCut pauses until you get a licence. You can still open it, browse your projects and watch your edits; it just won’t make new edits or exports. Nothing is deleted, and buying unpauses it at once.
Is the licence really for good?: Yes. One payment, no subscription, and every update after it. Payments go through Dodo Payments, which handles the card, the invoice and any tax.
Why does the price go up?: It rewards the first creators. The first 100 licences are $5, the next 200 are $9, then it’s $19. The count comes from real sales, and this page shows it live.
Is it cheaper in India?: Yes, automatically: ₹299, ₹499 and then ₹999 at the same steps, in rupees. There’s no code to enter.
Can I use it on more than one Mac?: One Mac at a time, and you can move it whenever you like: deactivate it in ReelCut’s Settings, then activate it on the new Mac. If a Mac is lost or broken, release it from your account page, up to 3 times a year.
What are credits for, then?: Only AI extras that run in the cloud, like transcription in any language, and saying a line in your own voice to fix a word you flubbed. They’re separate from the licence, the same with or without it, and you get 200 free to start. Every extra shows its price first, and nothing is spent without your yes.
Which AI do I need?: Claude on any plan, in the Claude app, or ChatGPT Plus or higher, in OpenAI’s Codex app. ReelCut connects to either one.
Is my video uploaded?: Not for editing: editing, transcription, captions, sounds and background removal all happen on your Mac. A cloud extra sends only what it needs, like your audio for cloud transcription, and only after you say yes.
